photography-bangkok.com - 1989, saw Foundy get involved with the Cambodian conflict, which he photographed and documented for press agencies around the world. but got taken captive in late 1990 by Heng Samrin troops, as he photographed a black market camp. he was interrogated then later released, after thai military personnel came over the border to negotiate with the Cambodian soldiers to set him free. he was unhurt by the incident but had his pride bashed a little!
